A poem Kevin wrote to the firefighters on 9/11/01
A bonding so close, a unity so tight
a pact of brothers struggle with unrelentless might
They overcome the fear and walk the thin rope
Never losing faith, showing America hope
IN the deepest of hours these brothers stand high
Pushing on without pause showing American pride
Courage, strength, unity, the best of America they show
Brothers they are always, to America they are forever the heroes

Nature at it's Best by Kevin F Baker
Sweet flowers made of a rainbow's color
The sun's bright rays illuminate the ground
Where tuned birds sing and butterflies flutter
While waves on rock cast a soothing sound
The breeze is cool and carries the leaves
A scene of nature at it's eave
With elegance at the core I find
The blue air envelops the clouds of white
Which water over the dew-covered grass
The great trees stand guard with their height
To all darkness which might trespass
My mind starts to blend in with the stage
Then I vanish, no longer confined in a cage
Kevin loved watches.
He collected watches....old.....new.....cheap.....expensive....it didn't matter.
I don't even know how many watches he had when he passed.
He was buried with his Grandpa's watch, and a very expensive watch that Kevin had bought. The time was set to the time he passed, and the date was set to July 12...the date he passed. after those were set...the stem was pulled out so they would never move.
I love you Kevin and miss you even more.
LOVE ENDURES FOREVER!!!
